Im a White (norwegian) female and im dating a Hispanic (gulatamalan) male and I love him so much. but his parents and sisters dont like me they think that he can do alot better. such as date a hispanic girl. do i let them get in there way. i have tryed my best to have them like me. the father does but the mother thinks im a hoe. what do I do???

We got married when we were both 25 yr old. Neither set of parents approved, and we are same race, same religion, same education level, same same core values. My parents haven’t spoken to us since the wedding 41 yrs ago. Hers yelled at us and fought at us till the day they died. If we had it to do all over again, we would do the same thing again. Soooo follow your heart, but be prepared to lose his family.

    ha trust me on this mexican families are like that because i belong to one the sisters are just trying to protect his bro and the mom doesnt want to lose his son

    I’m Hispanic, my friend may wanna go out w/ me & she’s white. My parents r OK with it, so his parents r just @$$es.

    If you two are at least 18 then the decision is yours and his, not anyone else’s. The two of you will have to decide how much you mean to each other, and whether or not to allow anyone else’s opinion to matter.

    I love my mother more than anyone on this earth, but if she opposed me dating someone, it would not stop me from dating them and if her and my relationship suffered, so be it. It’s my life to lead (or yours, in your question) so lead it in such a way as to have as few regrets as possible.
