In the U.S. amongst Black Americans. Like my brother broke it down to me- “Good BM” in 09 have the strongest dating power because all types of women want them. You guys have the final decision on who you date- and as a BW, I strongly agree- no matter what the next sistah is saying… the smart ones know- and will play by the rules given. The difficult ones will say they prefer non-BM, but I guarantee you 10 years prior- her 1st love or crush was that BM who broke her heart. lol

Now with the rise of mixed communities and racial tolerance- the crushes, likes, and first loves of youngsters in the U.S. will become increasingly integrated… depending on where you grow up and spend a lot of time with- your assessment could ring true for some BW and BM. For now- inferiority complexes, white guilt, colorism, & sexual curiosity

Who are these BW who’s first and only preference is to be with non-black men? I usually see is the “I quit black men!” trend- in other words the BW who feel rejected or frustrated from their experiences w/ some BM AND THEN opt for the non-black males- much like the excuse you hear from BM for quitting BW in 2009. i dont know if i can agree completely with u redbone. we deal with alot of self-hate being black in america. we only focus on the men but i would say the woman have self-hate and or conditioning issues just as much or even more than the men. so there are black women whose first and only preference is to be with non-black men. we dont focus on this for a lot of reasons b/c to do so would go against the strong pro black woman complex.

Hmmm… I never thought about that… great insight… good question… Being a BW- I’d surely go for a “good BM” before I ever look across the fence… I think that would be true for any woman of any race preferring the “best” of their respective groups first before looking elsewhere. Now a good man is a good man but your commentary and questioning are very valid.

…White men & BW are the main ones who are dumb founded when they see an attractive WW with a BM. BOTH of these groups automatically assume the WW is trash, whore or after mandingo sex. They never think that WW could be attracted to BM like they were even during slavery but could not do anything about it without being punished.
